Database export problem

I can't export my database, no idea why. HM2 starts normally and can run reports etc. But when I try to export all my hands HM2 just hangs and says please be patient, export in progress but never export any hands. Tried to uninstal virus scanner and disabled firewall no help. Last night run overnight without exporting any hands. Occasionally reports postgres connection problem while exporting but after cancelling export I can still run reports.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Which PostgreSQL version are you using??

I have W7 and have both files as admin. Added those exeptions to firewall. windows is up to date. no uac. postgres is 8.4

still same problem. tried HM sync so I might export from laptop but takes ages since it syncs 15 hands per second!!!

edit: virus software was avg but uninstalled and rebooted that when first started to have problems.

What is the size of the database you are trying to export? How long does it work until it says there is connection problem?

Currently at work but if I remember correctly database info shows 12G

and it takes about 5min to give that error message. But sometimes it dosen't give any message just does nothing.

too big? ill try to purge some observed hands from old limits.

im having the same problem.. i cant export hands without a crashing. The hm2 suckout all the memory ram but without exporting a hand..

i have a DB of 60gig 127k of players. i have hands of ongame and ipoker.

i have my hm2 up to date 2.0.0.6483 version, my windows is up to date too.
I use bitdefender as a antivirus and firewall with exceptions added to hm2 exes.

both exes are running as administrator
