notes on HM replayer

Hi Guys,

I have a problem getting the litte star thing on HM replayer.
I used to have it but since i was sent a new way to have my HUD its now gone.
I have gone into player pref > appearence> and the note bit was ticked but its still not showing.

Any suggestions on how i can get it back to take notes?

(I have the new version)
