I was wondering what the best approach is to backup the hands I have on one database on 1 pc and transfer it to another pc 2 and reload all the hands onto the other computer.

Also is there a quick way of synching them.

You should always backup the original/processed hands that get moved to your \HMArchive folder. You should also export your entire DB to text files. Once that is done, you can try one of 2 methods to restore a DB.

If you have an external hard drive (or small database) you can take your entire \postgresql\8.3\data folder to the new machine, and install the same version of postgresql and your DB.

Or you can try the backup/restore method.

If neither of those work, you will have to Import From Folder > and point to those archived and exported hand history files.
