View Full Version : hem doesnt tracking hands

hi , yesterday i got a virus alert and i deleted by mistake the import.exe , then i restore it using an antivirus tool .

but still i wasnt able to open hem.exe then i tried updating it to 1.08 and it "worked" now i was able to open hem.exe but today i just realize hem isnt importing all the hands (just imported like 7hands then stopped importing)

edit: looks like hem was importing with the hud wasnt refreshing the stats ...

what should i do to fix it ?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

Turn off Windows Firewall for installing HM and PostgreSQL. You must also add exceptions to the Windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Close HEM and your anti-virus and delete any \xenocode\appliance cache folders and any other possible false positive files.

reboot

If you are still getting warnings you may want to reinstall HEM and do a thorough scan when it is uninstalled to make sure you dont have an actual virus somehow. I would scan with MBAM (MalwareBytes Anti-Malware) and your normal virus software.


1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files mentioned earlier.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
6) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
7) Test if it for a while and see if it work
8) Close down Holdem Manager and rename the current, working \config folder to \config_original. Now copy your \config folder from step 1 and paste it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\ fodler, to replace the one you just renamed.
9) Test if it works again for a while
10) If your old config folder causes problems, you can paste the contents of the \config_original folder back in.
11) Now you can import any notes and hud configs.

hi i did steps 1 to 6 and with the latest patch i always get this message ,

Try to reinstall the .net framework

1) Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Software and uninstall every Microsoft .NET Framework you can find in the list.
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

ok i just mailed him
btw i tried installing 1.08 and hem runs but it just import normally for the first round of blinds then it keeps importing but the hud doesnt refresh ( at the end of the session i can see all the hands played but during the session the hud stop refreshing after the first round of blinds)

I was playing poker on Pokerstars and the HUD was working perfect, and al of a sudden i hear a noise and the HUD stopped. I tried to relaunch and i get this message:

Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

Access to path 'C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\Status\Command\DAT' is denied.

Quit and Continue both don't work. HUD doesnt relaunch and auto-importing doesnt begin...

Whats the matter here?

Hi, are you using Kaspersky Virus Scan? if so,

* Go into the KAV settings window.
* Navigate to the Service node.
* Here, turn on the Compatibility mode for programs using self-protection option.

I have almost the same problem....

After I installed the latest beta version (40) everything worked as it should.
I had no problems for days.

But during a session at PS the HUD just stopped updating.
I rebooted my pc, tried again, but still no HUD.
Auto-import doesnt work...


I already started a new thread (http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19876) about the problem but no reaction, so i try it here :)

I have the latest beta installed.
I rebooted, i checked those two files and they suppose to start as administrator. Didnt have to change anything.


Tried HEM again, still the same error...

I have XP btw...

hi , yes i have Kaspersky and looks like my problem is solved i played a small session and everything its fine now ty
