When looking at tourney results in the data view what is the sum column for?

That means that a 'summary file' has been imported for that tourney.

Why would I want to know there is a tournament summary file?

Because on many sites, HEM cant properly tell you the results without that. At pokerstars you must email them for your tournament summaries to import. Full tilt writes a hand history and summary file to your hard drive. If there is now checkmark in the summary box, the results info may be incomplete or inaccurate, and may require manual editing.

Is there a way to get it checked once I get done with the manual editing?

I have no HM available at the moment but i think you can just click into the sum field to check it.
