Make sure UAC is disabled (refer to the faq). I was having the same issues as all of you (the table manager would not even pop up). I disabled UAC and the issue is now fixed.

The weird thing now is all of my HUD preferences have been reset to default AND I have to configure the auto import folders again. I don't know why HM reset all of the settings to default, but I am just relieved that the HUD is working again.

For some reason a lot of people are having the holdemmanager.config file reset. This controls most of the basic options and settings like auto import folders, seating preferences, hero names, etc. It shouldnt affect your DB. it may affect your HUD to some degree, but most of that is controlled by the prefs.xml file.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.
