I was using HM 1.08.01 last night when my Norton detected a Backdoor.Trojan threat and requested that i shut down all active programs. I ran a Norton full system scan and the threat was said to be resolved.
When I went to reopen HM it began to open and then shut down and the Norton message box popped back up saying that it had 'blocked' a Backdoor.Trojan in the following file:
c:\users\username\appdata\local\xenocode\appliance caches\holdemmanager.exe_v77810409\theapp\stubexe\ @programfiles@\rvg software\holdem manager\hmimport.exe
I tried to remove all of the folders and files under c:\users\username\appdata\local\xenocode\appliance caches and tried to relaunch but got the same message as it appears the subfolders were recreated.
I tried to download 1.08.04 update and this did not work either.
At this point I cannot open HM and am not sure of what next steps to take.
Please advise if you have seen this before.
Thanks,
Matt
If it helps I run Microsoft Vista as my operating system
