I'm not so concerned with the HUD, but does anyone know of a way to get MY hands into HEM played on Bovada for EV tracking, win/loss tracking, etc?

Even if hands could be captured and my seat number manually entered....

Bovada is Bodog?
Do they write handhistory files to your computer, or a handgrabber still works to get the full handhistories?

No option to save HH to your comp.

We have no solution for this if the Pokerclient doesn't support the writing of local handhistories.

They just recently implemented a feature to download the hands that you play. My Hem 'added' the files but I can't seem to find the hands. Assuming they didn't go through as it probably isnt supported yet.

Here is a sample of the hands that you can DL (heh, they include everyone's hand in every hand) If anything else is needed let me know.

I'm curious to know the status of this. If more handhistories are needed, I'm willing to send in samples as well.

PM me your email address, so I can check if a feature request ticket was created, and the handhistories attached to that ticket to support this format.

hi are you guys working on a patch for bovada? because there is holdem indicator that works and they do not enforce the rules of not being able to use a hud. as i used to use poker edge on it all the time and sites would say its illegal to use including bovada but they never inforced it. thanx

We have no plans on supporting Bovada as they don't allow a HUD. (even if they don't enforce action against players using illegal software).

We do have plans to support you're able to import the handhistories to track your winnings/stats in HoldemManager.

We have a feature request ticket that already has Bovada handhistories attached to the ticket. (ticket HM-4603)
This issue will be fixed once the ticket is picked up by a programmer.

Was this issue ever resolved?

It's still an open ticket.
Ticket has a 'low priority' status (assigned by a senior programmer) so it won't be implemented any time soon.

I am sorry you feel that way but we have to prioritize our bugs according to how many of our customers are affected. We have other issues that are currently more important that must be addressed before we can consider spending developer time on this. I don't think you will have better luck with our competitors since they already stated they don't have any plans to support Bovada at all.

It may be added eventually but it will not be any time soon. This is a very low priority issue for us right now. We have other networks to support first (such as ENET, Winning, Barriere.fr, etc) which have been requested by customers for much longer and allow the use of a HUD.

Just a bump to check on the status of this Bovada ticket/feature. I tried looking for a place to check the status of tickets, but didn't have any luck. Thanks.

We had plans to support the import of the requested handhistories to track your winnings/stats in HoldemManager. Ticket for this is HM-4603.

Current status of the ticket, it's NOT closed, but we currently have no plans to support this format.

Bodog approached us to support their new hand history format for tracking only without a HUD, we declined. Their hand histories include the hole cards for every player at the table. They only released these hand histories to stop claims of collusion due to the anonymous tables format. Providing the hole cards for everyone at the table changes the rules of the game, it is a bastardization of the traditional IWTSTH rule (I Want To See That Hand). We are not interested in redesigning our tracking system and database to develop a solution just for the Bodog handhistories.

I dont understand the problem with supporting import of Bodog HH. Since the HH is only downloadable ONE WEEK AFTER PLAYING it can only work without the HUD. So you don't have to change something in your software because of that. And I also don't see the problem with hole cards of every player. When your database can't hande that, just ignore the hole cards it can't handle. Should be easy. Or am I wrong?

By the way Bodog is the biggest site in the USA now. So this should be interesting for a lot of people.

There is a 3rd party HH Converter available that allows you to import hands - Bovada Hand History Converter for poker software Bodog (http://acepokersolutions.com/Bovadahandconverter.html)
