This is a re-occurring problem, that I encounter only on my laptop (running XP), never on my desktop (running Vista).

I am playing and hands are improted, everything fine. At some point HEM stops showing the hands, even though they are imported, and also the HUD shows them all. The HUD also has my overall session results correct.

It just happened again (playing PLO on PS, but have also seen it at holdem, and at other sites). At 14:45 hands stop showing in HEM, even though HUD ahs everything. HUD stats are also updating just fine.

At 15:05 hands suddenly start appearing again (just a few as I was closing down tables).

I tried re-importing the archived HH files, and HEM tells me he found 125 duplicate hands, even though it only shows 48 hands played for me in the session. So 77 hands are in some mysterious limbo state in the database.
I checked overall stats of one of the opponents, they also stopped at the same time.

I downloaded the latest beta before doing the re-import.

1) HEM version 1.09 beta 35, but seen same problem on earlier versions (NOTE: now running beta 39, but imported hands still invisible)

2a) Problem occurred on
- Pacific (with native hand histories), NL Holdem 6-max and headsup
- PokerStars, Pot Limit Omaha 6-max and fullring cash
2b) see 2a
2c) Yes, was running auto-import

3) N/A, it was working then just stopped (partially)

4) Yes, hand histories imported just fine when I transferred them to my other PC

5) I can;t really test that since the problem is intermittent.
5a) This may be the case: the database on my PC is a restore of a PostgreSQL backup of my main database on my other PC.

6) As specified, the HUD was perfectly alright.

7) N/A, no import problem at all with same files on other PC

8) Problem PC is XP

9) ok

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

Just had the problem again , noew with random hands appearing or not. Definitely looks like some kind of database corruption.

Oh well, off to go building the new database.

I have created a new DB which looks OK on importing one file, so here's the rest of the 700k hands or so ...
