I've asked this question in other forums and get different responses...

so..... lets say our villain is UTG
playing 20/10 with EP PFR of 10%

amirite in thinking that this particular villain is only raising 10% of his total PFR range in EP?

His early position raising range is going to be 10% of this range which is like 1%?

cheers

Nope, if his EP PFR Range is 10% this means he raises 10% of his starting hands.

Here are the formulas for the stats: http://208.109.95.123/forum/showthread.php?t=3595

surely somebody who's raising 10% of all hands from all positions isn;t raising 10% from EP too? As if they were then their overall PFR should be higher?

Is there anywhere that definitively says how these stats are gathered?

edit:

does this mean he raises 10% of his starting hands that he plays then i.e 10% of 20%?

Karsten is correct, EP PFR = % of time he raises from early position.
