I am trying to restore my HM database and am running into some problems. I backed up my database based on the instructions in faq id 12. After setting up postgre and hm again i then followed the restore instructions. Once the restore completed there was an error and i clicked cancel to not reimport. There are three databases setup "HoldemManager", "Poker DB", and "postgres". When opening up HM the import and HUD are working as expected but i do not have any of my old hands. Any ideas?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

What is shown in the HM > Options > Database Management window?

I am guessing that your old db is named: Poker DB

The default HEM DB is named: Holdem Manager

I expect you have the new, empty DB (Holdem Manager) set as default and your old hands are in the restored DB (Poker DB).

If that doesn't help, attach some screen shots of the DB control panel and pgadmin.

I already have the beta.

How do i mark the old database as default or migrate the hands to the new database?
