Please make sure your 'latest version' is 1.09 beta 35 by reading the titlt bar of HM. - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

What operating system? Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.

Try toggling on/off the HUD Options > Tables Preferences > Force On Top

Force on top should be unchecked in your case

Please post a screenshot.

Any additional software (mining, AHK scripts, security...) running?

screen shot with force ontop : http://yfrog.com/62screenshot1yj

ok messed with it while force ontop was not selected and basically it pops up in the normal place, without overlap but then if i select that table it goes underneath the table (seen by quickly moving the table and seeing it underneath.) when i move the table it comes back up but then disapeers again when i click on the table.

I'm sorry. I suspect the problem is with your video-card drivers. If updating to the latest drivers doesn't work, then force-on-top is the only workaround we have.

The problem is with the graphics driver. Try messing around with scrren resolution, screen depth (8, 16 , 32 bit etc) and turn hardware acceleration on and off. I am not hopeful this will work but it's all we can suggest.
