importing for Full Tilt

I requested a hand history file from FTP and they sent me one file with 1800 hands. I tried to import this file in HEM but it get 1800 errors and no hands import.

Is there a special way to import FTP Hand History files? I can import the files the client writes while playing just fine, but this is a different file.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If it still won't import Please www.7zip.org the hands and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread.

Fozzy not sure if you got my email, but these are hand histories that I requested directly from Full Tilt as their client wasn't auto saving hand histories and I missed a few sessions. They sent me two files. I will email you again, but they do not import into HEM.

When someone requests a HH from Full Tilt they look like this:

I think it's the:

that separates hands that is throwing the import off. I have over 2000 hands so manually deleting them seems painfully tedious and time consuming.

No issues here.

ok fozzy, the new DB can import the file I sent you. so i guess i'll have to move everything to a new DB. for confirmation:

-I import all my hands from the archive folder into the NEW DB.
-I export all my hands from the OLD DB and import them into the NEW DB.

Shouldn't I just export all hands from the OLD DB and just import those into the NEW DB (skipping the archive import) so there won't be duplicate hands?

That is correct. HM doesnt care about duplicates. It scans/skips them quickly if previously imported. This insures you get all hands imported, in case your archive or Db somehow has hands that the other doesnt have.
