I purged every hand, even my own. Stats on everyone still work. I can't run filters, nor use the sessions and reports tab. No way to change that eh? Gone for good?

Thanks

You can either reimport the hands/archives or create a new DB.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

My archive folder is empty, even though it's properly selected under the edit section in configure auto import folders.

I just figured, based on "Purging does not delete the hand completely: it just deletes the hand history details but keeps the stats in the database" that I would still be able to view my stats in the sessions and reports tabs.

So if my archive folder is empty, and I periodically delete the HH's from my pokersite folder itself, there's no way to view my stats/run reports in the reports and sessions tabs?

Thanks.

Unfortunately not - you have no backup of your database?

.

Why would you ever do this? HHs are far too important, and take up too little disk space to delete. They compress very well also for archiving. HM moves the original files after import so you can keep a copy of the originals.

Email support@yourpokersite and ask them to email all of your hand history and tournament summary files.
