Downloaded HEM and installed it on a new machine running Vista Business Edition.
Exported hands from old machine using PT2 to a text files. Put them on my network drive and had HEM import them.
All seemed to have worked fine except that I'm missing at least 20-30k hands and my $75k Supernova Saturday Freerolls all show up as $0 won even when I finished in the money. Neither were big deals as 30k hands is nothing and I don't play tournaments other the the SN ones.
My problem started when I tried to vacuum the database. HEM requested I do a manual vacuum so I tried.
The first thing I noticed is that my HoldemManager database has a little red X next to it in pgAdmin. When I click on it I get a pop-up stating something about Database Encoding. Apparently I created a database to store SQL_ASCII and I'm attempting to store non-ASCII data in it.
How do I fix this? Does it matter?
