View Full Version : HUD don't work on Ongame (Winamax)

Hi,

I had HEM from a couple of month and use it without problem on PS and FTP. But the HUD had never work on Winamax (Ongame network), even if the hands are imported correctly in database.
I used to play on Winamax without using the HUD, but now I really want it to work.

I think I did all that was necessary, like configure Winamax in English.

Please try updating to the latest beta version from the link in my signature.

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.09 beta 35

2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
Problem only on Winamax (Ongame). No problem with FTP or PS.

b. Which type of game(s) are you playing? NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT
NL, SnGs and MTT

c. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?

4) & 5)
Hand histories are correctly import into database.

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
It works

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be. If you have problems with SnGs and/or MTTs please try it with the english client of your pokersite.
They are written in english and I try with english client of winamax.

8) Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is.
I'm on Windows XP, not Vista.

9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

If the HUD still wotn work automatically:

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

It works with it, thank you so much ;)
Because my table appears correctly in Table Manager, I thought the problem didn't come from it.
Now it works very correctly on CG, SnGs, and I think on MTT but I hadn't try yet.

When I think at all the time that I played on Winamax without using HUD because I think it wasn't support... :(

I have a similar problem with winamax.
I have installed the latest Update to no avail but still no HUD whatsoever.

I play both sng and ring. One hand gets imported (it says from the import tab) but i never find any stats when i search my name in the cash session reports or tourneys.

Also the files stay in the winamax folder and get moved to the archived folder.

Table finder doesnt find anything.

The solution link you posted is not valid anymore.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Beta.exe


1) Export any custom HUD configs and Copy/Paste your \Config folder before deleting any files as a backup.
2) Close HM and the Table Manager.
3) Delete your existing HUD Prefs files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
4) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml, pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt and exenames.txt
5) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

Hmm. I dont really want to change anything in my preferences since my HEM works well with all the other sites i am playing.
Is there any other way? Less drastic?

Also how do you launch Table Manager (sometimes it doesnt pop up)?

As long as you backup like suggested in Pats folder there shouldnt be any issues, try that and see if it helps

To relaunch the hud go to Hud Options > Relaunch Hud

- But I dont want to lose my preferences (if I delete the prefs file).

- Sometimes the HUD is there but I cant see the table manager, how can i access the table manager?

Please make backup copies of the files before you delete them. We just want to see if it works with a standard configuration.

The table manager is the HM icon in the windows icon bar. You can open it via double click on the icon.

1/ Too much hassle and potential disaster for a site i was just testing.
I'll give it a miss until you come up with a new beta that hopefully works smoothly.

2/ I understand Table Manager and HUD are the same application. But what I mean is sometimes the HUD is there (on other sites) but the table manager is nowhere to be found, not even minimized in the Windows task bar. How do I find the TM window then?

TableManager = hmhud.exe
If you can't locate the window, but you can still see the HUD, hmhud.exe must still be running.

To bring back the window, either manually close hmhud.exe (in Task Manager) and start it again (with relaunch HUD) or... reinstall HoldemManager completely using the full installer followed by a update to the final version of 1.11.05
