Stakes field empty?

I have HEM beta 35 on both my laptop and desktop (both running vista), using trial version of Table Scanner. On my desktop there's no problem, on my laptop the stakes field is just an empty text box. It doesn't seem to matter what other options I check or if I minimize then reopen the field or update/restart HEM, there's never anything there. Not really sure what else to try, it just worked on my desktop. When I run a scan, it finishes ~instantly and returns no tables no matter what part of the PS lobby I have open. (edit: also checked and have PS text size at medium, etc.)

Pressing the "-"Box right beside "Stakes" doesn't bring up the stakes?

Have you tried to minimize any other box to make some room there?

"-" box gets rid of the little text box and leaves a "+" box which when pressed brings back the empty box

Minimizing other boxes does work though! Maybe make the areas resizeable to help with this problem?
