have just downloaded the latest update to see if that would help and now i get the following message

"An error occured on startup:Could not load file or assembly
'DeployLX.Licensing.v3, Version+3.1.2000.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=798276055709c98a' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest."

Please reboot your computer, clear your browser cache or use a different browser and download and install the update again.

I am still getting the error message "Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

I have uninstalled holdem manager and cleared my web cache then rebooted and reinstalled and i am still getting this error message.

This usually means that a firewall prevents the connection between holdemmanager and Postgresql. You need to configure exceptions for this.
See if this helps:

It may also help to run the postgresql service (in the windows services) as local system account (default is postgres).
