Hi

Take a look at one of my popup player detail windows. As you can see, there are some hefty advice for me, to minimize my leaks. Besides the obvious, what stats do i need to improve my game, maybe some gameplan advice too.

In some cases, my fold % is a mess (to low), and in other cases, my bet % is a mess (to high). What stats should i aim for in order to improve my game in small stakes tourneys.? Thx

It will depend a lot on what game types and stakes you play. I would suggest you ask in a poker strategy forum. We mostly get people with technical problems and they dont stick around once their issue is resolved to talk about game strategy here.

In terms of general preflop numbers, your PFR should be a lot closer to your vpip. You should be raising and 3 betting more preflop.

Take that with a grain of salt, as I am not a very good poker player, in all honesty. ;)

I recommend you ask in the appropriate forum for your game type and stake, on a site like twoplustwo.

1. What Fozzy said.
2. Thats a tiny sample size.
3. Those averages are for 6max cash, compare your figures to others in your stats for now.

I've just bumped this older thread

I´m aware of the fact that stats are taken from cashgame, and therfore not quite comparable to tourneys. So we need this 1 mil tourney database, ey:rolleyes:

I will try 2+2 forum also. Maybe i´ll get some tourney stats help.

And yes, aka, i know sample size should be higher, but it is what i got for now. Thx for your time, guys.

Yeah it would be nice if they could throw us non cash players a bone eh ;)

Here's the default report averages from mine, min 30 hands, mix of HE sng and tournies abi $3.

My player report also shows lots of "discrepancies" with the stored averages.
I'm not saying mine are any good tho, I'm at best breakeven, and have many leaks I hope to get round to plugging - or just give up and go Omahaha crazy ;)

Yep, i know what you mean. My stats are from FT. I actually signed up there and got the software, but FT really does live up to their name; ridiculous and off the chart gameplay. Talk about rigged game in favour of reckless, loose maniacs, going to showdown with 3 7 and ofcourse hitting the fullhouse or some other zhit. And i do talk about low limits. Nah, i´m out, soon.

Back to the problem at hand, i know that i´m not supposed to give stats TOO much weight, but they are giving me info to deal with. I play also PS, have almost same stats, but i´m doing ok there. But again, many players can give crucial advice to rookies like myself.
