Question about HM2

I own the licence for HM1 (used to play texas holdem). I am currently playing PLO, therefore i need to buy the new holdem manager version.
The question is: HM2 works both for Texas and Omaha?

Last question:

I have HM1 registered under my name of course but a friend purchased it for me. How can i be elegible for the promotion if i upgrade to HM2?

You will need to purchase the HM2 Pro Combo which includes both HM2 and OM2.
