Hi guys, last night HEM worked fine. As of this morning, the "registration required" screen pops up, and when I enter my old reg code (given to me by hem when I exit), it says "Unable to connect to the remote server". I have run an anti virus, and as far as I know don't have any firewall issues, the only one I'm running is the default windows firewall and it still doesnt work when I disable it (and the anti virus). I am running the most recent beta. Here is what it says when I copy the details thingy to clipboard:

1) Clear your web cache, and download the beta update again, with another browser if possible.
2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder

*You can use the same code for 2 PC's, just choose the PC#2 slot when registering.
*Please try using our registration system to register your current/new license. Then you will be able to retrieve or reset your own license, as needed. http://www.holdemmanager.net/Registration/
*If you have any problems with either of the above, please email your details to fabio@holdemmanager.net.

Thanks for the reply, but I managed to fix it myself. Several months ago the "solution" to fixing freeze ups in the new FTP client was to uncheck automatically detect settings in the LAN configuration wizard in XP. This apparently (eventually) broke several things for me, gmail notifier, IE, and then HEM yesterday. Undoing this fixed all of those.
