Hi everybody. I am a nine-handed and Heads-Up Sit & Go Player. Recently, I experienced some problems using Holdem Manager 2 while playing at Pokertars. Whenever I start a new tournament, the HUD only shows stats for five or six players including me. If it is Heads-Up, it doesn't show my opponent's.
I don't know what to do. Could You help me?

Are you playing STTs or MTTs?
Do you often analyse opponents, making them the active player in HM2? (for example to run reports of them)

Which HM2 build are you running?

I use to play Sit&Go's and MTT's. I dont analyze opponents and I don't make them active players. Finally, I don't know what "HM2 build running" is.

I used the link you posted, and try HM2 playing some HU and 9-handed Sit&Go's.
When playing HU, HUD starts perfectly, but once It reaches 10 hands more or less, It re-starts.
In 9-handed games, It only shows my stats and those from the players three to my right.

I also checked my filters but It is nothing unusual there. In fact I have never used them.

Did you:
Double left click on aplayer to switch to session stats,
Accidentally double right click to reset session?


Try reimporting the hands into a new database.

Click on Database--> create a new database
Run a import from folder on C:/HM2Archive.

Click on Hand Importing--> Manual Hand Import--> Import Folder


And import your archive folder (default: C:/HM2Archive), so it will reimport the original handhistories into a new database.

Finally, I formatted my computer, installing a new operative system. I downloaded Pokerstars and Holdem Manager again. It works now slightly better. But sometimes when I start a new HU match, It only shows my stats, If I am moved to another table, it doesnt work. I played a major tournament and It only showed my stats. It's just been installed, so I dont know whats the problem.

Sometimes having no stats (or stats for the wrong players)--> when moved to a new table, is a known issue caused by PokerStars.
It should be fixed in their next update of the PokerStars client.

The fact is that even if I am not changed from my table, for example when I start a new single table HU Sit&Go, sometimes my opponents stats are not shown.

I did it all, but it doesn't work properly. Today, I was playing a 9-handed Sit&Go and I realized that the player on my left was showing 49 hands in the database after the first hand. During the tournament, his stats didn't change. It seems like an importing problem. By the way, Holdemmanager only showed stats for the player on my left and the four players to my right.

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files (pospref2txt and pospref4.txt), so HM will rebuild them to default:
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref2txt and pospref4.txt.
4) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and open 1 cash table.
5) Use Ctrl Right-Click Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk).
6) Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position any hud sub-panels for each player.
7) Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.
8) Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play.

I am sorry, but pospref2txt and pospref4.txt don't exist.
And, What is Table Manager?

TableManager is the window that popups when you start the auto import.

Every HM1 install has the file pospref4.txt: it's in the C:/Program Files(x86)/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config folder

When the stats are not shown for the opponent in a (HU) SNG, check if the opponent has an unusual name (containing a: !@#$%^&*( symbol). Email us a handhistory of such a game.

I deleted that file, restarted HM2 and Pokerstars, played some HU Sit&Go's and the Hud worked properly, except for those opponents containing (_) symbol. I played 3 or 4 9-handed Sit&Go's and the problem remains the same: The Hud doesn't show stats for the 4 or 5 players to my left.

Since the last update of HM2 and Pokerstars, my HUD shows stats for all players, but only my (Hero) stats keep growing up, other players' stay in 0. Is it an importing problem? I am not sure, because HM2 keeps saving my stats...

Sometimes, the stats of the player immediately to my right work well.

The stats of those players recorded previously in the database are showed, but the number of hands doesn't increase.

I updated, created a new database and checked if pokerstars was importing the handhistories. Everything seems to be OK (Import folders...).
In the first Sit & Go I played after that the HUD worked perfectly. But for the next two, It shows my stats, but all my opponents' stay in 0.

Hello again. I am not using any filter. I updated and opened a S&G. It is now even worse, as the HUD shows my stats perfectly, but they stay in 0 for everyone else. After that, I exported my custom HUD and reseted It, but It doesn't work. The stats for all players except me are froozen.

I used the first link you posted (HM1) and created a new database. For the first tournament I opened the HUD worked perfectly, except for the player two to my left, whose stats stayed in 0. After that, I used the second link. After updating, the stats for my and the three players to me right were perfect, but the rest of my opponents they were 0.

I updated, but I have the same problem. In the SNGs I use to play, two, three or four players to my left have their stats frozen (0). I am playing one MMT while I am writting and the HUD shows only my stats.
Whats the problem? Why does the HUD show stats for me and some of my opponents (usually three or four to my right), and not for everybody?(Sometimes only for me)

I updated, deleted the prefs file, opened HM2, opened Stars and a new 9-handed Sit&Go. But again, the HUD only shows stats for me and the four players to my right. The stats for the four opponents to my left are still frozen (0, - ...).

Did you use a previous installation of PostgreSQL (once installed by HM1 or PokerTracker)?

Excuse me Sir, but I am a bit clumsy. I don`t know what PostgreSQL is or what version I am using. But had PokerTracker 3 before buying HM2.
Is there any kind of conflict?

If it doesn't accept that, delete the postgres user first:


click on Start and go to Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt

* If you are on Vista, rightclick and choose "Run as Administrator".


A black box should appear. Type 'net user postgres /delete' (without the quotes) and press enter.

The user is now deleted and you can (re)install PostgreSQL.

I made It. I reinstalled PostgreSQL (Do I have to install "Stack Builder"?). But It still doesn't work. The HUD fails for some players.5886158871

I tried uninstalling PostgreSQL and installing it again, but there is no way. It works like this...

I tried deleting once again prefs.xml. When I opened HM2 again, the HUD still failed for three players, but now, I can see the next window:

I never played Zoom. I played some cash tables yesterday, both limit and no-limit and the problem is the same.
