I was playing at stars when I realized that a hand I just played was not tracked in my HM-report. So I had a look into HMarchive but the hand was in there. so I copied the HH into another folder and let HM reimport the hands. HM shows 32 hands, 32 duplicate files. I counted it, exactly 32 hands in the file, from different tables, and the last 4 hands I played at a specific table are in the file, but they dont appear in my reports or my results, they are not shown anywhere. The hands I played before at that table are all there. How comes??? I've attached the file, its the last 4 hands in this file which cause the problem...
Only realized it cause I didn't see a change in my result after that hand and felt like that a couple of times before, so I guess that happened some more times probably....

I just imported all 32 hands into a new db and couldn't see a problem with any of the hands.
Would you like to try the same and let me know how you get on?

*Try creating a new DataBase - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1431/How+is+a+new+database+created+in+Holdem+Manager+2% 3F
*Now import the hands so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/81/Options+{47}+Hand+Importing+{47}+Manual+Hand+Impor ting

(http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/81/Options+%7B47%7D+Hand+Importing+%7B47%7D+Manual+Ha nd+Importing)
If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/5/Database+Manager+(Ribbon) (http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/5/Database+Manager+%28Ribbon%29)

I just imported this month -HMarchive/2012- into a new database, about 67k hands.
The misssing hands are there now, so I got some questions:
1. Is the old DB broke for sure, cause its about 10million+ hands big and that will take time to create, no other way and will this happen again?
2. In the new DB there are 700hands more, this is 1%, thats a lot. But how can there be 260 duplicate hands when I just import the archive folder into a new DB?
3. The more hands are in the stakes 1/2 2/4 3/6 which I played more, in 5/10 10/20 where I have less hands, there are 11 and 2 hands less in the new DB, how can that be? I was shown 4 importerrors and 10 incomplete hands after importing. So I guess its impossible to get al my hands in a DB?
If you need it I can send you screenshots or whatever you need of all that.

1. clear filters (even though it appears no filters are selected), and reindex the database in pgadminIII.
There's a 10% chance that will fix the issue.

Ideally, you should just create a new database, and reimport the hands.
Once they're all imported, BACKUP the database: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/72/Backup%26RestoreDatabase
(it's 100x faster to restore a 10 million hand database, than to reimport them)

2/3/4. It sounds like a corrupt database causing these problems.
Also email PokerStars, request ALL your handhistories. It's possible due to 5 second connection errors, disconnections, some hands are simply missing (or incomplete) in your archive folder. PokerStars can sent you the complete handhistory (of every hand you've ever played)

Ok, tx. I made it easier and switched to HM2, anyways wanted to do that.
Is it poss that HM2 imports much faster?
Last question: I know I can order my Hh from PS but how do I import them?
I dunno how to set HM to import from an email...

HM2: can import them 5x faster.
When you request ALL hands from PokerStars, they'll email you links to .zip files you can download from their server.

Unzip the files--> to a folder on your computer.
(they'll unzip to large .txt files)
And run a import from folder on that folder in HoldemManager.

Thanks.
last Question: Is there a possibility to just import the cash-hands from the requested HHs? Stars can only send all my HHs and I don't wanna fill my DB with useless old mtt-hands...

They'll probably already split your hands into two .zip files.
One for cashgames, the other for tournies.
