The table stats with HUD setting don't remember the position. Everytime I open the pokerstars, it would return to the right upper corner no matter where it was last time.

Setup the seating preferences: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/32/HUD+Options+%7B47%7D+Seating+Preferences

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

Your advice above doesn't solve the problem. I should have made the problem more clearly:

The problem happened just to table stats (incl. Setting/Hud select button and last winner). The HUD for player stats works fine! Everytime when I restart HM2, the table stats shows on the upper left corner of the table. I can then drag it to wherever. As long as HM2 keeps open, its position would be remembered, even when I reopen pokerstars client. But once I close and open HM2 again, the table stats go to upper left again!

When you've moved the table stats--> http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1611/HUD+Options+and+Features
(see the HUD settings box) and click on Use Configuration for all tables (which works the same as File--> Save Positions in TableManager in HM1, and should also save the position of the table stats.
