Today I downloaded HEM to try it out.

Installed it and had some problems with PostgresSQL because I forgot the password I set up a while ago.
Uninstalled it and installed it again, using the old database.
Now when I try to connect to it, this pops up:

Any clue what I could do to get it working?

Thanks,

Please reboot your computer and try again.

This message normally is a firewall issue. You need to configure exceptions for Postgresql and Holdemmanager in your firewall. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=164

And you could try to start the Postgresql service as local system account not as User postgres.

Please come back if you need further help.

Ok,

- Rebooted it
- I have no firewall at al
- I made sure UAC was disabled
- HEM is being run as an administrator

And I dont know what that means: "And you could try to start the Postgresql service as local system account not as User postgres."

Still the same problem.
Thanks for trying to help.

Please try following all of these FAQs, step by step:

1) http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=34
2) http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8261

If that doesn't help at all we may want to schedule a remote support session to assist you.

Well, I was following that, but only had problems with PostgresSQL, so I uninstalled it, deleted the remaining data, rebooted, went to make a fersh install of it and now this pops up:

And I can't find what to do about his on the FAQ.

Sorry for disturbing that much,

Skeat

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service, you need to start it in the administration tool for services.

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services
