I updated HEM 1 and followed all previous instructions in the forum.

First it wouldn't save hands at all (managed to fix that)

Now the hud starts, and appears to be correct when first seated.

The problems start as soon as you get moved table, the hud stat boxes for each player are on the wrong players seats.

INCLUDING MY OWN!

I have tried saving settings etc, it all works until i get moved table (that's what seems to cause the problems)

I do not have preferred seating settings at all and never have.

I've had HEM 1 for over a year and it has been relatively smooth.

Since this update and stars updates, the start of this year has been torture and is seriously starting to hamper my grind!

Please help.

Cheers

Barry

The bug you're experiencing is caused by PokerStars, not by HoldemManager, and only affects MTTs.

PokerStars is aware of their bug. They responded with:

Employees of the department of software development have been made aware of this problem. Currently they are workingon a fix and speedy implementation in future program updates.

Unfortunately, at present we can not provide the exact time frame when the problem will be solved. However, we understand the importance that this information should becorrect and we do everything we can to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

We express our gratitude for the choice in favor of PokerStars!

Sincerely,

Joseph D.
Technical specialist PokerStars

When you're moved to a new table, and your preferred seat is seat #5--> when moved you should also be seated in #5, but the bug is PokerStars will still seat you in seat #5, but will write to the handhistory file you're now sitting in seat #7 (example). And it does this for all players. Because the information in the handhistory file is wrong/different HoldemManager shows the stats at the wrong position. This is something PokerStars has to fix.

I do not have preferred seating setup on stars or HEM, never have and not bothered with it.

The HUD has worked for over a year, and still works when just starting.

But if i get moved tables in an MTT, that's it screwed.

You issue is still related to the PokerStars bugs.

Why aren't you using preferred seating? Read: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/34/PreferredSeating
It makes it a lot easier to multi-table.

Hey. I've got the same problem. After reading this thread, I used preffeared seating options, step by step from FAQ. But no change. After 27 hands played on a 9max mtt table, the huds stats are not aligned correctly.
WYSWIG checked in. Additional HUD filters changed to 9 max. And I did not move the hud stats manualy. So if someone could help me with this.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe to 1.12.09

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files (pospref2txt and pospref4.txt), so HM will rebuild them to default:
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref2txt and pospref4.txt.
4) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and open 1 cash table.
5) Use Ctrl Right-Click Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk).
6) Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position any hud sub-panels for each player.
7) Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.
8) Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play.

Actually, I did something else while waiting for reply. I moved the hud stats manualy, to proper positions on the first table. And after starting another one, stats were asigned corectly. So my problem for the moment is gone. Thx for such quick reply anyway.

Any news about this one? Especially on sundays with all the MTT tables it sucks. Moving stats is not an option here, because the (correctly displayed) HUDs on the cash tables would be moved as well.

It should be fixed in the next PokerStars software update.
