Hi,

My HEM

HEM is not archiving/reading all the hands (meaning that there are some hands left to Hand Grabber folder, which to my knowledge is working fine) and all the other hands come out as duplicates for everyone else but me.

So HEM is either
- Not importing
- Importing hands as double for everyone else except me

For example, Hand x shows me winning with QQ under my sheet but the hand is doubled under every opponents sheet. Hand y however is missing completely :)

The problem seems slightly similar to this thread:

Specs:

Database is an old one, imported from the earlier machine.
Postgres 8.4 (the old one didn't use this one...)
HEM 1.09 beta 30
Pacific Hand Grabber v. 2.17
Pacific software the newest English version (5.6.021 I guess, checked from poker.exe)
Windows 7 x64 (UAC disabled)

Please update to the latest Beta. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73
and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory.
Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Please try to import the hands to a new database.

Why are you using the handgrabber? Pacific should write handhistories on its own.

UAC is disabled.

I'm using the Grabber to get the hands from tables that I'm only observing, which Pacific does not save.

Creating a new database seems to have solved the problem of duplicate hands.

It's still not importing all the hands from Pacific Hand Grabber so my guess is that there might be a slight compatibility problem between PHG, HEM and Pacific software. I'll try to import the files from Pacific's own save folder, compare it to what HEM manages to import between these two files and get back to you later on (and probably go bitch at Idleminer too).

If you can identify the hands which aren't imported please mail the files to fabio@holdemmanager.net with a link to this thread.
