Stars "join a missing table" client focus freeze problem

When I try to join several tables at one time, including a table that is no longer available (server-side table scan results sometimes show a table that is no longer available on the PokerStars client), the client focuses on the last table on the list and then freezes up and can't be moved for about 30-60 seconds.

Did I describe this well? Has anyone else experienced this?
