Help please getting Hlm manager going no tabs in autoimport light up.

my holdem manager is not working correctly. When ever I open it the autoimport is already going, but not actually working. I click stop and no tabs light up for it to stop it just says stopping. it is not running correctly. Also, no heads display comes on tables nothing.



anyone know how to fix this?

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

ok so I go everything done before doing sql unistall reinstall. I alreayd had sql on my comuter so when I go to that step I just tryd my holdem manager to see if it workd and it did:

Now since it is working do I still have to redo the sql again?

Um now can I re put my winders firewall up again and devender at the end it did nto say if I can?

Nope. If it is working you dont want to do anything to disturb it. ;)

Yes, but enable them 1 at a time and test if HM will still connect to the DB each time. if you get the connection errors again you have found the conflict. Make sure you set exceptions in your firewalls as explained in the link above.
