Auto Import has been working for me until a PS update occurred yesterday. Now it just sits saying "Importing" but nothing ever imports. I tried manually selecting my hand history file as well and that did not work.



1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
I downloaded the latest beta at:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you don't have the latest version, go to the releases forum and download the newest version and relaunch the HUD to see if the problem still exists

2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
PS. It's the only site I play on.

b. Which type of game(s) are you playing? NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT

c. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yes, not working

3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site.
It worked right until an update from PS. No changes on my end!

4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.
Yes, they are there

In Holdem Manager, navigate to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders and verify that the location of the folder Holdem Manager checks for is the hand histories folder of your poker client.
It is correct

While playing, go to that folder on your PC and see if new hand histories that correspond to the tables your playing at are showing up. This is not relevant where the site uses a database like on Ongame or Prima.

If you can see the hand histories, right-click on the hand history, choose Properties and you should see the location of the hand history. Please highlight that location and copy and paste that location into the answer. This can be done by highlighting the text by holding down the left mouse button while highlighting the text and then right-clicking while the text is highlighted and choosing copy and then paste it into the forum.

4) If the hand histories are not showing up in the folder, then go back to the FAQ, as they should show you how to check the settings in the lobby to configure the poker site to save the Hand History and make sure its sending the Hand Histories to the correct location. Contact your poker site if your unsure to find out where you can set the location of the hand histories to save to.

5) So by now you should have confirmed in answering each question that you have setup the folders correctly and the hands are appearing in the correct folder.

Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? Test this by playing a couple of hands and then going to the Reports tab in Holdem Manager. Navigate to Filter > Clear and for the date filter choose today. Do the hands that you just played import successfully?
Nope, this is the problem!

5a) If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database.

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
Table Finder did not work while I was playing live tables. It had some error message about hmhud.exe not running as administrator?

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be. If you have problems with SnGs and/or MTTs please try it with the english client of your pokersite.
Yes, English

8) Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is.

9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

This is not an adequate answer. We just released a new version late last night. Please verify the actual version number in the titlebar of HM. If it is not 1.09 beta 32, you need to update. I just updated my pokerstars client yesterday, while running HM 1.09 Beta 30b and had no problems. I also had no problems with beta 32.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

Not the friendliest customer service post I've ever seen....

Most applications have Help->About.... and that lists the version number. Maybe you can add that to the app.

Sorry, I wasnt trying to be rude, just direct. More than 50% of the time that someone says 'I have the latest version' they dont, perhaps thru no fault of their own. Our developer released beta 32 very late last night, so it was very conceivable you were on beta 30b or earlier.

Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the www.Teamviewer.com Quick Support Module. It does not need to be installed, as it can run directly from your Desktop/Directory. Please let me know what time zone you are in and when you are available today. I have some openings this afternoon (EDT) because I think my schedule has suddenly changed. I should be able to take a look at it personally in just a few hours from now.

I am having the same problem right now.

I uploaded http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe 16-09-09

And now if I am importing files it is all with errors.

Plus my hub isn't working but thats because I can't import any files I think.

I am having 1.08.04

Can any1 help me?

17:22 dutch time a few hours later it didn't work I got all errors while downloading

i'n using the newest version and the beta upgrade also newest
2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?
i'm playing at pokerstars nl holdem fullring an 6-max
2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?
yes
3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?
yes
4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

the first two days but then import stops and HUD also didn't work

Your Import Folder seems to be wrong for me.

Please check the Stars configuration: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=147

And please crosscheck that Vista UAC is still switched off and both the Stars Client and the Holdemmanager Import can access the handhistory folder.

It is explained in the document with the questions.

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

- If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.
- To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button.
- Click this and attach the file.
