First of all what an adventure getting this set up. I think I spent over 2 hours and about a dozen reinstalls of postgre but finally I got it. I'm a poker player not a techie and this was no fun at all. I think part of the problem was caused by my downloading a trial version of the thing a few months ago, I couldn't get it to work though as at the time the Pacific hand histories weren't populating, they are now, sort of, so I decided to buy HM.
The trick was to both uninstall postgre and then delete the folder as well, that ended up working. There were some strange screens not in the instruction guide as well, had to do with languages and such, I just went with what was clicked. In the end after being on tilt for quite a while I finally got it going, so to speak anyway.
Edit: I had posted a problem I had with displaying hands, after tinkering with it I solved it myself.
