Hi

I have some problem. I made format at my disc and i install holdem manager again. I choose "activate online now..." and PC1 beacause this is the same PC. I dont activate hm in another computer but i have this information:
"There were errors during activation. You can retry activating online or go back and try another method. If problems persist please contact customer service"

So what can i do?

This means that you had Postgresql installed previously. If you don't need this old data just navigate to your postgresql installation folder (usually c:\program files\postgresql\8.3) and delete the data folder. Then start the installation again.

From this thread:

I would suggest a complete reinstall of sql if still having issues and use any other user name if you have any username/password issues.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

Vista: Turn off UAC - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

Turn off Windows Firewall for installing HM and PostgreSQL. Once you get those installed you can add exceptions to the firewall. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

For uninstalling SQL please follow these steps:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) manually delete the Program Files\Postgresql folders
3) run the command - start > run > cmd >

net user postgres /delete
4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.4, with your firewall uninstalled or turned off if windows firewall - http://www.enterprisedb.com/products/pgbindownload.do
