Hi, I was wondering if there was any support for hand histories that you can download from ongame. I'm trying to save some of them and import it, but it's not reading it as a hand. Is there a guideline or anything I can read that will let me be able to format it so that HEM can read it properly?

I am not familiar with their files. What file type do they provide?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

A simple copy/paste doesnt work when importing this hand history; it doesn't even detect it as a hand. I'm fine with editing this text in order to get it to import properly, but would you be able to provide what I can change in order to get the import to work?

Edit: updated to newest beta, 30b and it still doesn't read properly.

Oh, I doubt that we support that format.

Why not just import the actual ongame hand history file that is written to your computer by default?

Well it's mainly so I can copy/paste some hands in before my sessions in order to get a bit more info on the players at my table.

Is there anything that people can refer to when creating a hand history to import into HEM?

Sure, any actual hand history that does import. Typically people would use a pokerstars or full tilt hand history as a template.

I've run into a new problem now.. It seems as though this action line causes an import error in HEM:

xxxbets $2.50
yyy raises to $6.75
xxx raises to $16
yyy bets $51.45 and is all-in

In order to get it to work properly, I have to change it to, which requires a lot more work:

xxx bets $2.50
yyy raises $6.75 to $6.75
xxx raises $13.50 to $16
yyy raises $44.70 to $51.45

Any ideas where I wouldn't have to calculate exactly how much each person raises?
