Hi everyone,

i´ve tried to install holdem manager with Postrgre on my Windows 7 system. First i turned off UAC, installed Postgre 8.37 and then holdem manager with the newest beta version.

Later i opened the "DBControlPanel" and created a new database and wanted to start holdem manager. But nothing happened. I got a error message "holdem.exe doesn´t run"...blabla...;-)

Who can help me? Thx :D

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73
and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory.
Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Please make sure you have installed the latest Microsoft .net framework 3.5 service pack 1.

Did you start the Holdemmanager installation with the full installation of 1.08.04?

Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting.
If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
Reboot your computer
Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
Download and install the latest patch of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
