Hey, I'm going travelling and plan on working whilst I'm away and I thought the eaisiest thing would be to get a laptop as opposed to lugging my desktop around with me everywhere.
I'm a dummy when it comes to PC's, so have no idea what i need to get.
I have a very large HEM DB and mass multi table so it needs to handle HM, PS, TN with no sweat.
Any recomendations on a laptop, or component grade would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Colin

Most laptops don't really qualify for this, as they try to be energy efficient.
You'll need a laptop with a fast i5/i7 CPU, 6+ GB RAM, and a FAST harddisk.

Laptop + FAST harddisk is an oxymoron. The fastest you'll find might be a 7200 RPM model.
Best would be a SSD. (but that all-in-all will result in a very expensive laptop)

Creative alternative is buying a MacBook PRO or fast MacBook AIR with a SSD then running Windows on it. (but those are also expensive)

Edit: *update* any ULTRABOOK will qualify as being fast enough.
