I scanned my computer with F-Secure and AVG, got a couple of malware notices and I believe F-secure quarantined the files.

When trying to load Hem, I got these messages:

http://h.imagehost.org/0005/screen_1.jpg

I clicked okay, then tried to 'connect' and got this:

http://h.imagehost.org/0375/screen_2.jpg

Then I tried to connect to pgadminIII, with a password I've stored and have always used, and got this:

http://h.imagehost.org/0064/screen_3.jpg

What's wrong here? Is my database safe?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

First try a simple reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Please try following all of these FAQs, step by step:

1) http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=34

If that doesn't help at all we may want to schedule a remote support session to assist you.
