View Full Version : Locating HH on Betsafe and Microgaming

I've spent the last couple of hours trying to locate the hand history folder for Betsafe becasue HEM can't find it. I also can't seem to find my HH for Microgaming. Where on earth are they!

There's 2 Betsafe folders on my laptop.

C\Betsafe
C\User\T\AppData\Local\P5\Betsafe - but there's only a 'logs' folder in there

Betfair is in the same place but that has a handhistory folder and a 'logs' folder?

If i can't work out the HUD, i'll come back to that but for now, i just need to find the HH! Looked around the site, and can't see an option to save HH locally or anything like that so presume it's done automatically.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Microgaming, i'm in a similar boat. I can't locate my HH there either. From searching HEM forum, i read it's in a file called GamHistory.dat, but i tried to import that file and nothing happened. If it's a file, i can't set it up to auto import either because you can only do that for folders?

If i go into the 'Global' folder, there's..

handhistory
handhistory_table_5carddraw
handhistory_table_5stud
handhistory_table_7stud
handhistory_table_holdem
handhistory_table_omaha

The handhistory folder only has a .dll file (application extension) and a setup info file. All the other folders just have a 2kb 'setup information' file.

Can anyway please help me find my HH for these sites so i can get HEM to import and get my HUD setup? Thanks a million

Tony

Betsafe: read http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/13/Ongame_Bwin_BetfairSetup
(the hands are in the other folder listed at the FAQ)

For Microgaming, they're in gamehistory.dat
Try moving the file to a different location (and delete it in its current location)
Then run a import from file on it.

Thanks for the above reply, i found Micro and it works fine.

I'm at my wits end trying to get HUD to work on Betsafe. The hands are importing in real time and i can see then in the database but can't get HUD to appear on the tables. I've trawled through all the help topics and similar threads and tried everything but it's still not working.

I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium

I’ve downloaded the latest version of HEM

I’ve switched off my UAC

HEM is importing the hands I play in real time and I can see and replay all hands

When I run table manager, the table is showing in Table Manager

When I unclick and select table, move the read square onto the table, it recognises the information, and has owner as Poker.exe

When I confirm this I get a popup saying “The HUD detects table by looking for the name of the owner of each window It saves a list in config\ExeNames.txt file. You can add “Poker.exe” to the list so all windows owned by “Poker.exe” are detected as OnGame tables. Do you wish to add “Poker.exe” to the list of On Game tables?

I added this but still not joy. I’ve also tried deleting the exenames.txt file from the RVG folder an running table manager again but it still doesn’t work

I also tried this suggestion below, but still no joy

Changing the ExeNames.txt at C:\Programme\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config solved the problem.

My Exename.txt now looks as attached:

6,draculaholdem.exe
0,FullTiltPoker.exe
1,PokerStars.exe
2,PartyPoker.exe
2,PartyGaming.exe
2,EmpirePokerMaster.exe
4,UltimateBet.exe
5,mainclient.exe
3,casino.exe
9,MPPoker.exe
7,BPGame.exe
11,Everest Poker.exe
11,CStart.exe
11,cstart.exe
11,cstart-tmp.exe
12,poker.exe
13,Betfair Poker.exe
14,HoldemManager.exe
10,Poker.exe

Problem was #10, Poker.exe. I had to rename it from 8,Poker.exe and deleted all other rooms started with 10,

----------------------

I've done the below aswel.

Under Windows 7 you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe to be started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executable's and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab

Add Port 5432 to your Windows Firewall exceptions list along with
(C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager)
• DBControlPanel.exe
• Holdemmanager.exe
• HMhud.exe

(C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\bin)
• Pg_ctl.exe
• Postgres.exe

........................

I also found this info on a different site and tried it, but still nothing........

Paths have changed for HUD

so change it to, by clicking add auto import folders, then edit betsafe to

C:\Users\Yourname\P5JavaClientSettings - for Win7

C:\UserName\P5JavaClientettings\handhistory - for Vista/XP

.........................

What version of Holdem Manager are you using?

Holdem + Omaha Manager Professional 1.12.09

What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?

HUD not working at all on Betsafe (Ongame)
I have HUD working on Mircogaming but it doesn't attach itself to the right seats. I'd tried turning preffered seating on and off in Micro settings and the option isn't available on HEM. Has happened me on Pokerstars of late too. Playing on a ton of other sites for a couple of years with no trouble

Which type of game(s) are you playing? (NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT)

Just MTTs on Befsafe but only MTTs and STTs on others

Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?

Yes

Often times, it is one setting or option that's not correct in your poker client. Please see our Detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with poker sites to make sure your poker site is saving Hand History files.

Done this

Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the folder that you configured in HM to auto import from.

They are

If you think the hands are importing the please go to the reports TAB, select your username and run a report with all filters off to confirm they have imported.

They are

If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database

They are appearing in the database as soon as they are finished

Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work? http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+

Yes

If you open the hand history files, are they written in English?

Yes

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder. It may be just called holdemmanager if youve extenstions turned off.

Can anyone help please!

Close HoldemManager
Delete the file Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager/Config/exenames.txt
Then try the TableFinder again: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/ConfiguringTableFinderToShowHUD

Can you post a screenshot of a Betsafe table, and the TableManager window (when you have the auto import running)?

I think you are not using the tablefinder in the correct way.
In your screenshot you need first click on the table name in the table finder window, then move the red symbol to the middle of the table window, drop it there and close the table finder window with OK. Now the Hud should appear on the table.
Follow the same procedure for the 2nd table.

I'm 100% using table finder the correct way. That's what i've tried a ton of times.

HEM automatically finds the tables and reads/records the hands but there's no hud showing.
I then unclick the tables, and use table finder in the correct way to locate the tables and it finds them once again, but no HUD shows
