hi,

I ve been playing on different platfroms, everything was fine with HEM, not i move also to Stars and after the intial setup of autoimport folders + enabling saving of hand histories within the Stars lobby, the import makes errors only. /i see the hh files being saved to C://program files/pokerstars/handhistory , and they are being processed too, but every single one of them is reported as an import error. /this is a new database which i have created just for pokerstars, so there is no data yet/

pls help asap, available for teamviewer session, if needed

thx a lot

*Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.
*If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.
*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

Before we think about a Teamviewer session you should try the latest Beta: Please make sure you have the 1.09 beta 30b patch from the link in my signature.

Your Holdemmanager should say 1.09 Beta 30 b in the title of the main window

I had a vey similar problem importing HH from pokerstars. The HH file kept being reported as errors. I saved off the HH, then downloaded the newest beta version of HEM. Then copied the HH back into the HandHistory dir. HEM picked it up and appeared to read/import the HH. However, the hands are not visible anywhere in the "Cash Games/Reports" tab. Or the "Cash Games/Sessions."

I can modify the HH file and copy it back into the HandHistories dir and it gets picked back up again. HEM says they are duplicates. These are cash game HH. Hands I've played since then are loaded into HEM and displayed without problems. It's just the HH that were created before I installed the newest beta version.

Any ideas?

You have to trick HM into not assuming them as duplicates.

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If that doesn't work, you can try a new db:

*Try creating a new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21
