Postgre install problem

I had postgre installed but didn't know how/couldn't unzip it. I moved it to the desktop and it didn't help.

I followed the FAQ to disable User Control. I guess that worked because I had to re-start my computer.

I uninstalled postgre successfully from Control Panel to try and start from scratch. But I can't remove it from the C drive.

The FAQ isn't helping. Bottom line. I don't show postgre in Control Panel. I show it in C drive. What do I do from here? Tx.

I'm not really sure what your problem is.

You want to install postgresql and can't unzip the installation file?
I suggest you use www.7zip.org to unzip the complete file to a temporary folder or the desktop and start the installation from this folder.
