PostgreSQL and Creative Drivers

PostgreSQL crushes every time i update Creative Audigy4 drivers.I am running Windows Se7en 64bit and PostgreSQL 8.3.7. After every Creative driver update I have to completely uninstall and then reinstall PostgreSQL, othervise, PostgreSQL service fails to start even if i choose programs -> PostgreSQL -> Start service. How can Audio driver and PostgreSQL interfere with each other? This is annoying to reinstall everi time i update audio driver :(

You should ask this question in a postgresql forum where you will meet the experts (www.postgresql.org). For us Postgresql is just an external tool we use.

What you can do is try to update to Postgresql 8.4 to see if it makes a difference (backup your databases before doing so!).
