Random imported hands are not being displayed under Cash Games. I just got a new PC and haven't played poker in months. I'm using an ASCII database, which seems to lead to less import errors and more hands being displayed.

I've dropped and restored my database backup several times. Each time I recreate the database, I verify that it has restored properly and can display my old hands before importing new hands. After importing, HEM only displays some of my new hands.

The HUD works perfectly. If I play 10 hands, my HUD stats showing on that table will be based off of those 10 hands. If I go to Cash Games and refresh it, it may show anywhere from two to eight of those new 10 hands, but never all 10.

I was using beta 30, now 30a, though the version number in the software still just says "beta 30" instead of 30a. UAC is disabled and I'm running the .exe as administrator.

What version of SQL?

*Please make sure your Windows Auto Update is fully updated.
*Make sure you have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.
*Try creating a new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

If still having the same issues, you may need to try to reinstall postgresql. I would suggest exporting all your hands to text files and importing them to a PostgreSQL 8.4 UTF-8 DB.

Please try with creating a new empty database:

I can't believe Vista on this new PC didn't tell me that a major update was available. I got SP2, removed postgresql 8.3 and installed 8.4, and went with UTF8. Thanks fozz!!
