Hello,

I just started getting this error tonight. I've seen other threads on it but they haven't helped so I thought I'd post this one because I have a partial idea of what's causing it.

It was working fine earlier today and I've never had any problems with it. Then tonight I updated to the latest version of iTunes and Quicktime, and when it asked me to restart my computer it kept freezing during start-up. I eventually had to power off manually, close the lid, unplug the laptop, then restart it. Ever since that point it hasn't worked.

I don't know if the two are related but I figured they might be since HEM only stopped working after this update/freeze.

Cheers!

This message is caused by a windows update during the last days and should be solved by a reboot.

In other cases its a firewall issue. You need to configure exceptions for Postgresql and Holdemmanager.
