As above, it doesn't work this morning following a software update. I have downloaded the latest beta too, but to no avail.

As no other user reported this problem so far i think the problem is on your site.
Please make sure you are really using 1.09 Beta 30a.

If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

Reboot your computer,
delete all files in the FTP handhistory folder or move them to a different folder and try again.
If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

I had no problem pre-fetching HUD w/ Beta 30a after updating Full Tilt this morning.

1) Clear your web cache, and download the beta update again, with another browser if possible.
2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder

Please update to the latest beta 30a - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

Sorry to bring this up again but HEM just isnt right on my machine since the FT update yesterday.

I did all the above, restarted my machine etc, but still many problems:

1. The HUD freezes (ie stops updating) on some tables, but not others.

2. It seems not all hands are importing. Just played for an hour there, the full tilt stats bar gives stats for 497 hands, HEM shows 428.

3. Profits are being miscalculated, and HEM and the HUD gives contrasting info. The HUD is saying $30.xx for the session, HEM program is saying $9.30, the real figure is $25.xx

4. It appears that player stats are updating as normal but there could still be hands missing.

What should I do??

You should do as netsrak first suggested:

.......

Reboot your computer,
delete all files in the FTP handhistory folder or move them to a different folder and try again.

If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12?

1.09 beta 30. I downloaded the 30a version but HEM just says its 30. I assume its running 30a and just calling itself 30 in the grey bar.

2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?

FTP, NLH 6max. I haven't tried it on other sites.

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?

Yes

3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?

Yes

4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

Yes the location is the same, HEM looks for it in the same place it is saved into. There are 4 HH there at the moment. The directory is: C:\Users\Conor\AppData\Local\HandHistory

5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?

Most of them.

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?

6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?

When I click table finder it says 'I cannot find any unattached hands. Please wait until the Manager has imported some.' Not sure if this means its working or not :o. The HUD works OK most of the time ifs thats relevant...

7) If you open the HH are they written in English?

Yes

8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?

Windows 7, and yes.

9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?

Yes

Thanks for all your help!

Yes the location is the same, HEM looks for it in the same place it is saved into. There are 4 HH there at the moment. The directory is: C:\Users\Conor\AppData\Local\HandHistory

Please close FTP, 'Cut' those hand histories from the FTP HH folder, and 'Paste' them into your archive folder: C:\Users\Conor\Desktop\HH Backup

FTP are doing some really strange things with their hand histories as of the last month or so. To avoid this turn on auto import in HM and let it run through once before you launch FTP.

What this will do is move the hand histories and clear session stats and make everything run a bit better. You have to do it before FTP launches because one of the things they do now is lock the file so HM can't even move it

And obviously try the new DB as suggested also.

*Please make sure your Windows Auto Update is fully updated.
*Make sure you have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.
*Try creating a new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

OK, I played just a few hands there to see the first bit above helped. I opened HM, and it imported the 4 remaining hands. I definately remember before I closed it previously and I stopped and restarted Auto Import. Not sure why it didnt work that time.

I played 34 hands on 3 tables, on one table the HUD was fine, on another it wasn't there, and on the third it was there, but it was blank (as in just dashes where stats normally are) Of the 34 hands, HM accounted for 25 of them.

I will create a new database later this evening to see if that works.

Thanks

OK, please let me know how things go.

If you have HUD issues again, in any manner:

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

That may help us to deduce the problem.

OK, I created a new DB and it seems to work fine now, thank God!

I guess I'll just stay using this DB now, yeah?

Question though, how do I get all my hands into the new DB, when I clicked export hands form the old DB it only exported a fraction of my total hands.

Thanks!

*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB,

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=56

*and export/import the hands from the old DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173

*and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

I cant import missed hands after the update, loaded 10 sng's before realizing it wasn't going to work so how do I import the old hand histories?

netsrak

Please update to 1.11.03 without internal in the version in the title.

For importing old hands: you find them in the HM archive folder (default c:\hmarchive). Copy them to a different folder and import them again via import file or import from folder.
