After I export my hands to the hard drive, a pop up saying my hands have been successfully exported to "ExportedHands" in the HEM subfolder. When I go look for this the folder doesn't exist. Any suggestions?

I just did it with no issues. Can you post a screen shot?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

Sure, I am also using windows vista. Ive done this several times with older versions of HEM fine. Here are some screen shots of what I see:

Can you take a look at the 32 bit windows path? I wonder if the export isn't auto-detecting the 64 bit version of vista you are using and is just defaulting to the standard \Program Files directory.

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager

I think the hands have gone to somewhere in your users folder. You should search via Windows Explorer.

Or you can try with the latest Beta 1.09 30a to test if it makes a difference.

The beta update doesn't make a difference as I am using it. I searched for "ExportedHands" and there were no results. Do you recommend I uninstall HEM and Postgre and reinstall everything? If I do this is there a another way to keep my database other than the export hands?

There is no need for uninstalling HM or Postgresql unless you have other big problems.

You can make a backup of your database: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12
The export should work anyway, what happens if you export only some hands: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=187

I solved the problem and it was actually pretty simple :) I forgot to have HEM being run as administrator
