Hi,

I play on two different computers. Recently I exported all hands from Computer#1 and imported them into Computer#2. It all went well and I doubled my history at C2. After that I have played several more hands on both C1 and C2. If I do the same again, export from C1 and import into C2. Will the previously imported hands from C1 be duplicated in the history of C2? Or ar hands uniqe and such that C2 will know not to import the same hands twice?

How do I get around this?

Best regards,
Tomas

Hi,

as far as i can tell the hands are unique, so there wont be any double entries.
But that might be version specific, so pls don't try before HM-Staff commented
on that!

As for your 2nd question, i woke up this morning wondering the same. :)

My suggestion would be to set up a remote-db at some random hoster.
I opend a thread regarding this just a couple of minutes ago
(http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16890),
and am now waiting for a staff member to reply. If they see no problem
i'm just gonna go ahead and try it and then write a tut afterwards.

You do not have to worry about 2 copies of the same hand. HM also scans thru previously parsed files very quick, but there is a slightly faster method.

A true filtered export is still planned to be added to the DB Control Panel. For now there is a workaround:

HM > Hands tab

Filter for the hands from 'This Week' for example.

Select the [x] All radio button to load all the hands from the filtered time period.

Right-Click > Export All Hands to Hard Drive.
