Hallo,

i just updated to version 1.09beta29.
The HUD dont start automatically now. With the older version it worked fine.
I have to start the HUD with the table finder option. And sometime it don t work anyway. If i come to knew table in MTT i have to make it again. Sometime it starts sometimes not.
Can you help me plz. I did not change anything accept the new update to the new beta version.
What can be the Problem?

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Dear fozzy71,

what you want i have to do, plz thats to complicated for me.
My english is not very well and i said all what i m done. The only change was the new update. Before it worked fine.
What can i do now?

Can you plz give me advice without screen shot and this and this......
That would be very nice.

Th table Manager find the table but HUD don t pop up.
HM import the files correct.
I m playing MTTs.
The table finder find a short handed table!? Its fullring of course.

Data folder: C:\Programme\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory+su bfolders and its correct.

The next picture after use the table finder option, sometimes it works , sometimes not:

And once more, i had nothing changed, only the new update.

So the stats won't appear without using the table finder? Could you try uninstalling HEM and reinstalling to the latest beta. Leave postgres alone and your database won't be harmed.

Before you uninstall HM:

You want to make sure you backup your Processed/Archived hand histories, your entire \config folder, and your exportednotes file. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/?f=119. I usually just copy my entire \Holdem Manager directory.

I would also make sure you manually export the database to hand history text files:

HM > Options > Database Management > Connect > Export Hands

How do I export or import hands into and from Holdem Manager? - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173

Make sure you copy that folder as well as the other stuff I mentioned.

This helps to insure that if anything goes wrong with the backup/restore, you can manually import the exported files to rebuild.


If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.

Turn off Windows Firewall for installing HM and PostgreSQL. You must also add exceptions to the Windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files mentioned earlier.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, choose the Select All > Delete buttons to remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
6) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
7) Test if it for a while and see if it work
8) Close down Holdem Manager and rename the current, working \config folder to \config_original. Now copy your \config folder from step 1 and paste it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\ fodler, to replace the one you just renamed.
9) Test if it works again for a while
10) If your old config folder causes problems, you can paste the contents of the \config_original folder back in.
11) Now you can import any notes and hud configs.

Thats absolutly right. But it looks like that after the table finder option it works everytime, HUD comes up, after a while or just in this moment, thats different.

It seems like, that my only problem now is, that the automaticly pop up of the HUD don t works- but that everytime.

Btw, i m not alone with this Problem, i m a member on Pokerstartegy, there are other Germans with the same problem.

Make sure there are no 'stuck' hand histories in your full tilt hand history folder.


Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.

- If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.
