Hi,

I have installed HM 1.12.08 on my new laptop and I have been experiencing an issue trying to use the hud on everest poker .FR

The hh are cleary imported in hh but the hud would not display.

If I try to look for a table with table finder I get that kind of error message :

microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Assertion failed!
Program : ...
File:.\Mytable.cpp
Line:797

Expression : (nameStart>0) && (nameEnd>nameStart)

For information on how your program can cause an assertion
failure, see the Visual C++ documentations on asserts

(Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled)

Any idea how I should proceed to fix that ?

Thanks

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Thank you for youranswer

I have W7 and it seems I have a free version of Trend Micro Internet Security as an antivirus.

I checked and dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe were already set with started as administrator.

I added exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe.

My videos drivers are updated.

However, I still have the same error message when I am trying using the hud.

Any other idea?

Thanks

Ey,

I have exactly the same error with the everest hud thing, but when I use the HUD on pokerstars it does not give any error... So I dont think it has something to do with all the sercurity things, or am I wrong?

@fietswiel, speel je op Everest.fr? Zet de taal van de pokerclient/Everest lobby in het Engels.

Hey, ty fietswiel for your post.

I forgot to explain that my hud is not working with everest only as well, but it is working perfectly with stars party and many others.

Given that, is the solution to reinstall C++ ?

I could not get what is with the old version.

Thanks

The microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library is a vc++ error, so try reinstalling vc++ (and run a windows update--> install all updates---> reboot--> run another Windows Update--> install all updates--> reboot--> repeat)
