HM wont work

Hi,

I just installed HM on my new comp following the steps thoroughly but it doesnt work. I cant get hand to import for the life of me. Im playing Ongame using Windows Vista. I've tried everything before downloading the latest beta which just lead to HM crashing completely (stating the package was unable to replace HoldemManager.exe). Now I cant even start HM. What to do?

That happens because HM isn't fully shut down when trying to update.

1) Clear your web cache, and download the beta update again, with another browser if possible.
2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder

Ok thanks, seems to be working. Do I need to have UAC switched off at all times using HM?

Normally yes, you could try to work with the "Start as administrator" settings for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe but that doesn't work for all sites / users.
