Join a table on FT, choose Wait for BB - guys plays some hands before I post BB.
How can I see stats of these hands when I am sitting on table but waiting?

HEM version 1.08 beta 28

.........

HEM version 1.08 beta 28

I assume you mean 1.09 beta 28

You can pre-fetch 1 - 5 hands before you sit:

*HUD Options > Site Options > Full Tilt > Pre-Fetch > 1 - 5 hands
*Make note of the Pre-Fetch folder, and add that path to the Options > Configure Auto Import Folders
*C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data

Now if you start auto import, and open the tables, you can get stats before you sit. It takes a good 2 or 3 hands until the stats appear for Pre-Fetch at FTP, compared to Stars where it is almost instant.

Note: When you sit down at a table with observed stats, the ftp client spins the table to auto-center your seat. HM can not spin the HUD to match until it has imported your first hand. So, the HUD will be visible on hand 1, but will not be aligned properly. I recommend using the Abb. name stat if you dont already to help you spot this when it occurs. If you don't know also, you can assign color ranges to the Abb. Name stat according to their stack size in big blinds. It's a great feature for spotting short-stackers.

yes, 1.09.28
all that was done - not working on FTP
stats appears only after I personally play first hand
even if I sat down at table and wait for BB during 7 hands
but working on Stars

btw, it was my idea published here - about color ranges of Abb.Name as per Harrington

English FTP client?
Do the tables appear in the holdemmanager folder importing\hem data?

finally, it works
english client, english HH
the only new thing I made now was pressed both Apply and Save in Site options (previously pressed Save only)
Stats appears after one "watched" hand, but only after joining the table

one more question: in autoimport settings do I need to disable archiving for this HEMData ?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

I have no issues pre-fetching.

I have exactly the same problem.

Same as above:

1) Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.
2) If you have Vista, please verify that UAC is still off. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot.
3) If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174
4) Post the answers in a new thread on the HM Forums - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/index.php

Please try to reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Thanks for the answer fozzy!

I just found out what was wrong. When starting the Full Tilt client I was always prompted for installing a newer Flash player version (to be able to use the last hand function of FT, kinda obvious in hindsight), which I used to ignore. Now that I upgraded to the latest flash version, importing observed hands works fine.

Cheers!
