Hello,
Just got HEM today, professional edition and have tried the past four or so hours to get it to work and finally have given up.
First off, I downloaded the latest version and installed the latest patch, I am running windows XP.
Whenever I attempt to run HEM, I get the following error message:

From searching the forum I thought it might be related to this problem:
http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3447
Followed the recommendation in that thread to no avail. (updated microsoft .net etc.; obviously I used the more recent patch, not the one linked in thatthread)
Postgresql is running fine as confirmed admin tools -> system. I also tried removing all spyware and anti-virus programs and turning off the windows firewall, none of this helped.
Fwiw, I had been running the trial version of pokertracker3 with no problems before this so I'm quite certain its nothing to do with postgresql.
To be safe anyways I did reinstall postgres and deleted the old DB to ensure that wasn't coming into play.
Any help would be much appreciated, just want to get the program running.
Thanks ahead of time.
